My name is Ernie Payne and I have created this site to assist you with your Ultimate golfing trip to Scotland. In 2006 I became the first and currently the only person to have played all the golf courses in Scotland; the home of golf. At the time, this amounted to 578 courses plus 11 on private estates. I have called this ' The Ultimate Golf Challenge' Since 2006, I have played all of the new courses that have opened.
2009 is the ‘Year of Homecoming’ and golf is taking centre stage in these celebrations. Having completed the ‘Ultimate Golf Challenge’ and the ‘Old Tom Morris Golf Course Challenge’, I will look forward to assisting you with your golf holiday in 2009 and beyond.
